It’s common for companies to be so motivated to go-live with their new ERP system that they rush the training stage.
In our experience, this usually causes problems down the road. Sometimes users don’t fully adopt the system and fall back on old, inefficient processes. Or they simply skim the surface of what’s possible and don’t get the full value of their ERP software.
That’s why we prioritize training. It’s one of the most important steps in an implementation – even the best ERP system won’t be any good to you if your people don’t know how to use it. In fact, here at ProjectLine we won’t proceed with go-live until we’re confident your team is properly trained.
Training on your new ERP system is baked into your implementation plan. It happens alongside user acceptance testing (UAT), where your team executes processes using real data. This gives them an opportunity to verify that the system is working properly and learn by doing at the same time.
As part of your implementation, our team of ERP experts will train your key users – the people who will own your system internally. We find this approach increases ownership within your team and keeps costs in check.
For general system training, you’ll have access to online training content from our team and the ERP publisher. This self-serve training is a great way to familiarize your team with the software and what it’s capable of.
Whether you’re onboarding new users or just want refresher training for your team, we’ll work with you to create a training program that helps you get the most from your ERP system.
