About Carly

Carly started her career in a technical role, working as a programmer analyst after earning a commerce degree focused on information systems and business analytics. Even early on, she found herself drawn to explaining how systems work—writing guides and documentation to help others make sense of complex tools. Over time, that interest evolved into a focus on content and demand generation, where she combines her technical background with a passion for education and storytelling.

Today, Carly helps businesses navigate the often-overwhelming world of ERP. She focuses on providing clear, honest and practical insights that help teams understand their options, prepare for what’s ahead and make confident decisions. With a strong foundation in how systems work behind the scenes, she’s able to break down complex topics and turn them into resources that actually help—whether that’s understanding the ERP landscape, evaluating systems or preparing for implementation.

Outside of work, Carly is an avid reader (often finishing over 100 books a year) and creates book-related content for fun online. She also spends a lot of time outdoors in Muskoka, hiking, paddleboarding and training with her dog.
